How To Join

There are so many ways to get involved with Sol Harvest Farm

Tour the fields

Everyone is welcome at Sol Harvest Farm, but please respect our fields and stay on the designated pathways. We have a self-guided tour (complete with signage), which starts near the back of Farm & Table.

For a more in-depth look at the farm please call Farmer Ric at 505.306.1998 to schedule a personal tour. School groups and other group tours cost $30 and include a tour, question and answer session and samples of whatever is growing in the field at the time.

Work the earth

We always welcome a helping hand on the farm. You can help out on a regular basis by becoming a Work-Share, or volunteer once in a while at our quarterly volunteer days.

Work-Share

Work a 4 or 5-hour shift (depending on the time of year) on the same day each week and in return you will be compensated with fresh, delicious produce from the farm. For example, a typical summer work-share shift is from 7 a.m. – noon. We ask for a minimum 8-week commitment.

Volunteer

Like us on Facebook to keep up on our volunteer work days. These usually happen quarterly, on Saturdays. Facebook.com/SolHarvestFarm

Community events

We have various events throughout the year, including Cinco de Mayo, Summer SOLstice Celebration, our annual Marigold & Harvest Festival, potluck dinners to recognize the change of seasons, and much more!

Yoga at the farm

We now have two great spaces for yoga practice. Various teachers lead classes throughout the year. For the latest schedule check our facebook page at: Facebook.com/SolHarvestFarm

Support Sol Harvest

Small farms are an important part of the community. They educate, feed and support the local community and economy. The model can only work if others pitch in and get involved. We invite you to support Sol Harvest Farm & Flowers.
